Michael Romagus Jr. joined the department part time in 2007 and moved into a full time position three years later. Over time, Mike rose the ranks to become Battalion Chief in the training division in 2018. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 16 years, Ashley, and their two teenagers, Trey and Molly. Together, they love to travel, go to Astros games, and play games.
